POOYAN VAZIRI is an independent filmmaker & producer based in Montréal, working across both documentary and commercial media.
He holds a BFA in Film Production from Soore University and an AEC in Commercial Photography from Dawson College, training that underpins his distinct balance of craft and intuition.

Pooyan brings raw, intuitive energy to every project—rooted in connection, driven by spontaneity, and guided by rhythm. With a seasoned eye shaped by years of crafting vérité-style documentaries and polished commercial work—often with minimal crew and gear—he creates space for truth to emerge in real time.

He is also the founder of ManCave Atelier, a Québec-based creative production company dedicated to delivering bold, emotionally resonant visual storytelling for a wide range of clients—from independent artists to forward-thinking brands.

He approaches each project with deep presence, tuning into the subtle rhythms of his subjects and letting the story unfold at its own pace. His work seeks the truth beneath the surface—stripping away the excess to capture the quiet, unguarded power of human experience.

From concept development and cinematography to editing and delivery, he blends documentary honesty with commercial clarity—creating work that is visually strong, emotionally resonant, and deeply personal. Whether shooting a long-form vérité documentary, a poetic music video, or an impactful brand film, he approaches each project with curiosity, care, and a sharp creative vision.
